As Pride season gets underway, everyone’s busy planning for the return of the parade and for the chance to show our true colours as we take to the streets. But don’t forget to make plans for the afterparty – sure there’s nothing worse than being at a loose end while all your mates are at the party of the decade!
And this year leaves no stone unturned in terms of choice but if you’re a lady-loving lady/ladette the StoneyBanter Pu$$y Pride Lesbian Special promises to be THE place to be.
Hosted by the fabulous Wild Geeze, this sapphic comedy duo really knows how to put on a show that will have you sore from laughter with their unique blend of comedic songs, burlesque, and the not-to-be-missed ‘vagina puppetry’.
As they told GCN “Born performers, we go hard, leaving our souls, hearts, and moon cups on the stage. If you like body positivity, saving the trees, and songs about Gees then our shows are for you.”

And for Pride night they’ve spared no expense in bringing together some of the hottest lesbian acts that the country has to offer.
Making her Dublin debut is Munster slam poetry champion Julie Goo. Hot off the stage of this year’s Lesbian Lives conference, Julie’s witty lyrical stylings punch heavy at the patriarchy leaving you lusting after the power of the fairer sex and wondering why the women of Cork aren’t running the country yet.

But the show doesn’t end there. One of the legends of Ireland’s drag and burlesque scenes, Slick O’ will be strutting his stuff with his inimitable gender-discombobulating machismo – let’s hope he brings his burlesque leading lady alter-ego Sade O’Sapphic with him for a double helping of eye-popping candy.
With special guests still to be announced, this truly promises to be a show NOT to be missed.
