Hollywood veteran Betty White recently did a Q&A session with Larry King, where she answered questions from fans online…
One fan asked the question,”What has been the significance of the gay community for your career? And what do you have to say to those against gay people?”
The 92 year-old former Golden Girls star responded, “I don’t care whom you sleep with. It’s ‘what kind of a human being are you?’ I don’t understand, it’s such a personal private business and it’s none of mine.”
Here, here!
Betty has been a long time supporter of gay rights. In 2011, she said, “If a couple has been together all that time – and there are gay relationships that are more solid than some heterosexual ones—I think it’s fine if they want to get married. I don’t know how people can get so anti-something. Mind your own business, take care of your affairs, and don’t worry about other people so much”.
