HBO releases new ‘Looking’ trailer, and announces that Russell Tovey has been elevated to main character!

This generation’s answer to Queer as Folk will return for season two in January and HBO have just dropped a teaser trailer that tells us pretty much nothing at all.

There are shots of Glee villain and theatre darling, Jonathan Groff, smouldering at the camera – among other cast regulars also getting their smoulder on. Apparently, the trailer alludes to the decision he has to make between Raul Castillo’s Richie and Tovey’s Kevin.

The only thing that informs us of any change in the new season is that Russell Tovey (he of Being Human fame) has been made a cast regular – along with Daniel “too gay to function” Franzese from Mean Girls.

Looking Season 2 will return to US screens on January 11, on HBO, and Sky Atlantic for the UK fans sometime thereafter, though the date has yet to be announced.
