When Tom Daley announced he was in a relationship with a man via YouTube, he insisted “I still fancy girls.” Now, Tom says that he has realised that he is completely gay.

Speaking to ITV2’s Celebrity Juice, the 19 year-old Olympic diver announced, “I am a gay man now,” four months after he came out as bisexual.

Explaining why he decided to come out online, Tom explained, “I came out on YouTube as I wanted to say what I wanted to say without anyone twisting it. I told my family before I told the world. I was terrified. I did not know what the reaction was going to be.

“I did it on YouTube because people were constantly digging and asking questions.” The YouTube clip went viral now has more than 10 million views.

Tom is in a relationship with screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, who is 20 years his senior. Although Tom never spilled the beans on who his mystery man was when he came out, the pair inadvertently confirmed their relationship with a few coupley Instagram shots back in January. Speaking about their relationship he said that everything is “all good”.
