Another drab day in lockdown? Wrong, because we have just the thing to make your day a bit more fabulous. Three words: Queer YouTube Channels. Check out these content creators and the amazing talent they bring to via the world wide web.

Juno Birch

This drag queen/beauty guru/incredible make-up artist/sculptor has a style all her own. Birch best describes herself as “an alien that crash-landed on earth in 1962, and since then, has been foolishly trying to disguise itself as a human female, but ending up just looking like a camp, kitschy, muppet with wonky eyebrows.”

Rowan Ellis

Ellis creates videos about pop culture from a feminist and queer perspective, talking about activism, self-care, and making the world a better place.

Jade Fox

Need a laugh and someone to relate to? Check out Jade Fox, who is a comedic YouTuber with old school vibes. Her series ‘Let’s Argue’ will have you ROFL.

Kat Blaque

Kat Blaque is a trans blogger whose YouTube channel is focused on race, gender, and social justice. Subscribe to her channel to catch new videos every Wednesday.

Bretman Rock

You probably know Bretman Rock from his fabulous Instagram or even his hilarious Tik Toks, but first and foremost, Rock is a YouTuber. A beauty influencer with a sassy personality and great sense of humour, Rock is an outspoken LGBTQ+ activist, and unabashedly celebrates his individuality. And his best videos are when he collaborates with his three year-old niece, Cleo.

Jazz Jennings

Jazz is a national transgender figure and well-known YouTube personality, notable for being one of the youngest publicly documented people to be identified as transgender, and her videos speak to individuality and resiliency.

Nikkie Tutorials

Dutch Beauty guru and LGBTQ+ activist, Nikkie creates the most stunning make-up looks and teaches you how to do it yourself from the comfort of your own home. Last year Nikkie came out publicly as transgender.

Support GCN

GCN has been a vital, free-of-charge information service for Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community since 1988.

During this global COVID pandemic, we like many other organisations have been impacted greatly in the way we can do business and produce. This means a temporary pause to our print publication and live events and so now more than ever we need your help to continue providing this community resource digitally.

GCN is a registered charity with a not-for-profit business model and we need your support. If you value having an independent LGBTQ+ media in Ireland, you can help from as little as €1.99 per month. Support Ireland’s free, independent LGBTQ+ media.
