The world’s premier entertainment auctioneering house will offer Madonna’s items

Pieces including the legend’s Marilyn Monroe-inspired dress from the ‘Material Girl’ music video will feature, as well as more than 30 items from the film Evita being offered during the Icons & Idols: Rock’n’Roll auction in Beverly Hills, California on November 7-8.

Julien’s Auctions have said that a selection of the awards that the 56 year-old queen of reinvention has won will also be included, including an MTV Video Music Award and European Music Award, A Billboard Music Award and an American Music Award.

From Madonna’s personal collection, a diary from 1988 – the timeframe preceding her iconic Like a Prayer era – will feature, as well as a 1972 Junior High yearbook, a signed document detailing her separation from Sean Penn, and signed cheques.

A special exhibit of the Collection of Madonna Memorabilia will open at the Newbridge Silverware’s Museum of Style Icons on August 18 through September 15 in Kildare, Ireland. Hours are 9am-6pm Monday through Sunday, with free entry and parking included.

Madonna is currently readying her much-anticipated 13th studio album with production credits from Avicci and Diplo confirmed, with rumours also swirling about collaborations with Nile Rodgers and Disclosure.

The entertainer is also expected to announce a 2015 world tour in support of the record. The concerts would be the first since her 2012 MDNA tour, which was named the highest-grossing tour of the year by Billboard, taking $305 million from 88 sold-out shows.
