‘Bittersweet’ is the new from the all-female production company ‘Born to Burn’.

Born to Burn’s current production Bittersweet is a series of six short plays all written by LGBT women writers, all of whom are members of Born to Burn. They are in turn provocative, entertaining, moving, dramatic, inspiring and each in their own way captures aspects of contemporary life.

Born to Burn productions is a woman-centred theatre production group. It is a not for profit community-based association. It was created in Dublin in early 2013. The aims of Born to Burn are: to promote stage work by and about women and to facilitate the development of skills in theatre production.  It provides a fantastic opportunity for women with an interest in all aspects of theatre production to include writing, directing, acting, producing, multimedia design, stage managing and promotion.
