Our pals at Mother, the club night that this year hosted the biggest Pride party in Ireland and the hugely successful LGBT+ festival, Love Sensation, is moving its weekly club night residency to Dublin’s most eclectic new venue, Lost Lane.
Joining the Mother DJs during their first month at Lost Lane, electronic music producers DJ Kelly-Anne Byrne, Elaine Mai, visual artist Maser and Daithí.
Mother DJs say: “We’re incredibly excited to be taking Mother to Lost Lane every Saturday, a venue with one of the best sound systems in the country.
“Having access to a full stage setup now gives us the ability to add some of our favourite live acts to our club shows too. As we head towards our 10th year together, we can’t wait to share a fresh new Mother experience with the whole LGBTQIA+ community.”
Launching this Saturday, November 16, Mother will kick off its weekly residency at Lost Lane with the following guest appearances:
November 16: Mother DJs & Kelly-Anne Byrne
Kelly-Anne Byrne says: “I’m beyond excited for the official launch of Mother at Lost Lane next Saturday. They have a killer sound system and I’m looking forward to many more exciting nights there.”
November 23: Mother DJs & Elaine Mai Live
Elaine Mai says: “I’ve been going to Mother since it started and it’s exciting to see them make the move to Lost Lane. Wherever the Mother crew go, they always bring the party and that electric atmosphere. I can’t wait for my show in Mother’s new home and I’m looking forward to playing some of my new material.”
November 30: Mother X Maser
Maser says: “I’m excited to be back with my Mother crew. Let’s all come together and create a space and vibe that encompasses the love in Dublin. Getting on the decks with the Mother DJ’s/friends will be something new, but certainly entertaining.”
December 7: Mother DJs & Daithí
Daithí says: “Mother is hands down my favourite club night. The Mother audience is filled with such positive energy; it is always so much fun to perform for them. Being a part of this next step in the journey is an honour, I’m so proud to be part of the Mother family.”
The Mother family will be christening this new queer space on Saturday, November 16 from 11 pm. Tickets as always with their weekly club will be available on the door at Lost Lane, located on Adam’s Court, just off Grafton Street. See Facebook for details.
