Pop sensation – and all-around gay icon – Christina Aguilera has announced that she will tour Europe and the UK this November as part of her X Tour.

That’s right, fresh off her Las Vegas residency, the Queen of the Belt will hit up Dublin’s 3Arena on the final leg of the tour on November 5 2019.

The November gig will be the first time Christina Aguilera will perform in Dublin in 13 years. The star played the Point Theatre in 2006 as part of her ‘Back to Basics’ tour.

Fans of Xtina can expect to hear this pop princess belt out fresh new music from her critically acclaimed 2018 album Liberation, as well as the very best from the star’s repertoire including ‘Dirty’, ‘Genie in a Bottle’, ‘Ain’t No Other Man’, ‘Candyman’, ‘Fighter’, and many, many more.

Other cities on the X Tour include Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Stuttgart, Pori, St Petersburg, Moscow, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Birmingham.

The singer took to Twitter this morning as the announcement was made.

Xtina tweeted:

“THE X TOUR – surprise!! This one’s for all my Fighters in Europe – Tickets go on sale THIS WEEK! (some are already available). Visit christinaaguilera.com for all the info.”

The songstress also acknowledged how long it’s been since she performed in Europe. She later tweeted:

“Thank you for being patient with me – I heard you loud and clear so I’ve been quietly putting this together for you. Can’t wait to get back overseas again!”

Needless to say, news of the pop star’s upcoming tour broke the internet, with die-hard Xtina fans sharing their excitement on Twitter.

One fan wrote:

“I can’t wait Queen. We’ve waited 16 years for this.”

Another Xtina fan said:

“I’m so happy and proud of you, queen! Great way to start the week with this amazing news. Great things always come if we are patient and persevering.”

The Europe tour kicks off as the star’s Las Vegas residency comes to an end. Just last month, the singer announced that her brand new show – The Xperience – will begin this summer.

Tickets start from €79.50 and go on sale from Ticketmaster this Friday, March 8 at 09:00 am.
