Gurlll, there are spoilers from Alls Stars 4 and the latest episode in here so if you live in a cave and have not watched yet or simply do not want to know, sashay away!
Last week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race left us gagged after the double win in the lip-sync, the rules being temporarily suspended, no one getting eliminated and the returning queens back from the dead to the competition, Drag Race released the Sneak Peek of the week and we don’t know what to think anymore.
In the first six minutes of the next episode, we could see the reactions of the remaining All Stars queens towards the eliminated queens. We must say that it was expected to have a returning queen this season but we did not expect so much drama around it. At this point in the competition, the queens are not playing a friendly game anymore and using the elimination tactic that most of them have been following so far (facts are facts), we saw the real shade from Manilla and Monet against Valentina, as they say: Let’s get rid of strong competition.
In an odd move for Drag Race, after having temporarily suspended All Stars rules, Mama Ru has set up basically a lip-sync to the death between the returning queens and the remaining queens. Entitled a “Lip Sync LaLaPaRuZa,” the competition will see each returning queen (in reverse elimination order, starting with Latrice Royale) select a queen that’s still in the competition to go head-to-head with in a lipsync. The winning queen of each match will progress on in the competition.
To be honest, we looooove the drama and this season, in particular, has been serving a good portion of it in every episode, but it isn’t very fair to the remaining queens that have been fighting for their spot to be threatened by the eliminated queens this way, but the game it isn’t a fair game, and if you forgot, SHANGELA WAS ROBBED! The only thing we can do is to watch and enjoy the drama that this reality tv show brings to our lives. Everybody say love!
