Sing Along Social
Thursday, October 31
On Halloween night, join The Craic Mechanics for a Midwest Princess meets Little Monster Halloween Ball at Sugar Club in Dublin. Costumes are strongly encouraged, and there will be prizes for the best worst singers, so it’ll be a blast! Get tickets here.

Mother Disco Bloodbath
Sunday, October 27
Taking over the four dance floors in Lost Lane, Mother is gearing up for the biggest queer Halloween party in the city. This year, they will be hosting performance artist and musician Christeen, who will make an appearance after their show at the National Concert Hall. Get your tickets here.

Stoneybanter Creepy Cabaret

The Haunting of Gusty Nook
October 25, 26 and 27
Fot those who are looking for some more children-friendly events to celebrate Halloween, this one should definitely be on the calendar. Written by former GCN Editor and incredibly talented human being Peter Dunne, The Haunting of Gusty Nook is a blend of spooky thrills and comedy and the perfect deadly adventure for the coolest 8-12 year olds. As part of the Bram Stoker Festival, the show will take place in Axis, Dublin 9. Tickets here!

 

Haunt to go – HONEYPOT
Sunday, October 27
If you’re not afraid to be spooked by frightening visions – like running into your ex on the dancefloor – the Haunted Haus of HONEYPOT has the freakiest party of the year in store for queer women and all their pals. Slaughterhouse of Horrors
Saturday, October 26
If simply joining the party is not enough celebration for you, know that HONEYPOT has also joined forces with IFI Horrorthon and Slaughterhouse for an entire evening of spooky fun on Saturday. Featuring Seanchoíche, an incredibly popular storytelling night, a 35th-anniversary screening of Pet Sematary and a masterclass in Irish horror with directors Kate Dolan and Lee Cronin, this event is not to be missed. Halloween Crystal
Friday, October 25
A Crystal Queer Club event taking place in Fibbers Magees Basement, this is a fusion of cultures and identities, celebrating diversity, spirituality, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ community. Púca Festival
October 31 – November 3
If you’re looking to celebrate the Irish holiday of Samhain as opposed to its over-commercialised descendant, then the Púca Festival is perfect for you! The Púca Festival celebrates the scary season through “folklore, food, myth and music reopening the pathways of reflection and celebration carved by travellers over 2,000 years ago.” It takes place in Trim and Athboy, in co. Meath, and with Queen of Ireland Panti Bliss in this year’s lineup, it’s one not to be missed! Tickets here.

All Saints Gay Cabaret

Farmaphobia

Spread out over 100 acres of the Irish countryside, Farmaphobia is renowned as Ireland’s largest Halloween event. It takes place in Fordstown, Co. SCANRA: Samhain at the Cellar
