The iconic popstar, actor, writer, and director Hayley Kiyoko has announced her engagement to The Bachelor star Becca Tilley. The pair revealed the news in a joint Instagram post on July 10, 2025.
The carousel of photos displays Kiyoko and Tilley at a rocky beach with stunning crystal blue waters glimmering behind them. There’s a variety of photos, some of the pair tenderly embracing, one of Kiyoko down on one knee, a close-up of the engagement ring, and even one of the pair kissing in the water.
The post is sweetly captioned, “My dream girl said yes to forever…”

Kiyoko and Tilley have been together for seven years at this point, having met in 2018 at the release party for Kiyoko’s Expectations album. The pair started privately dating around then and publicly announced their relationship in 2022 through Kiyoko’s ‘For the Girls’ music video.
The music video was aptly Bachelorette-themed, with Kiyoko as the bachelorette and a plethora of women vying for her heart. The music video ends with the arrival of Tilley as she and Kiyoko hold eye contact.
Later, Tilley posted a video compilation of moments with Kiyoko, saying, “hard to say if this is a hard or soft launch, but it is a launch.”
The ‘Girls Like Girls’ singer also posted a collection of photos, the first one being of the couple on the night they met. The caption reads, “This photo is from the first night we met at my Expectations album release party, we took this picture after five minutes. Her shirt said ‘no time for romance’….. it’s been 4 years. I guess she had some time.”
Now, three years after that, the lovely couple is engaged. Following the announcement, a plethora of congratulatory comments flooded in from fans and fellow celebrities alike, including a comment from the company Kiyoko designed the engagement ring with.
Ring Concierge commented, “Congratulations!! We couldn’t be happier for you both!” to which Kiyoko replied, saying, “thank you for designing the most perfect ring for our girl!!”
