Fashion designer Marc Jacob has quit Grindr after claims that he hosted a 10-man orgy in his house
The 52-year-old posted a goodbye note to Grindr on Instagram yesterday announcing that he is temporarily retiring from Grindr to focus on his work.
‘Goodbye (for now) Grindr! It was fun for “group” get togethers, but, what really excites me is my work!’, he wrote.
The goodbye note came after a source told celebrity news site, Page Six that he had attended an orgy at Jacob’s house.
The sourced claims, “Everyone was in their 20s,” and “people weren’t as good-looking as I expected.”
“I expected Lorenzo Martone beautiful. They were average, chill people who didn’t have any attitude, which was really nice.”
Marc responded to Page Six’s story and the allegations on Instagram.
”Wild??? I’d say “MILD”. And to whichever guest benefitted from calling this misinformation into the Post, I only wish you good health, happiness, and a long life to enjoy taking advantage of the kindness of strangers and talking shit about others. #reallyqueen”
Page Six says it contacted Jacobs’ representatives for a comment and was told that it was ‘nothing we would comment (on) as a company’.
The designer previously admitted using the app and said he was happy to identify himself.
”I don’t really care. Who’s kidding who? I’ve talked about having hair transplants, I’ve talked about my drug problems, I’ve talked about my drinking problems, I’ve talked about sex. I just think it’s so much better to sort of be honest about those things. I always find it very dubious and I don’t really trust people who deny human instincts,” he told Paper magazine.
