Mayo Pride wants you to get Pride ready for their loudest and proudest festival yet in 2025. They’re bringing excitement and Pride to Westport, County Mayo, from Friday, May 30, to Monday, June 2. The festival’s programme includes more than 20 events to fill up your bank holiday weekend with Pride and queerness.
This year’s theme for the Pride Festival is “Love Won But We’re Not Done”, to remind ourselves that Pride is a protest. With anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric on the rise and transphobia being the topic of discussion since the start of 2025, Mayo Pride will hold a march on Saturday, May 31. And because Pride is also a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in all its diversity, the march will be followed by a spectacular party.

The one time in the year when there’s a physical space for us to gather together – a place where we see each other and feel seen and know we belong.”
