Perez Hilton has put his foot in it once again. This time comparing his Celebrity Big Brother plight to the AIDS crisis.

The famed gossip blogger has been making enemies inside the house since he stepped foot over the threshold, but this time he has gone too far.

Perez said on the show, “I have been traumatised by the experience. By living with so many people who feel extremely negative thoughts about me. By Katie Hopkins, who told Nadia in front of many other people, ‘We should isolate him.’”

Hilton (real name Mario Lavandeira Jr) then continued to dig himself a giant hole and compared being on the show with “being diagnosed with AIDS in the early 80s,” saying that Hopkins “was trying to get everybody to be afraid of [him] and ostracise [him].”

The comments (rightly) enraged fellow contestant, Michelle Visage. She shouted, “Having lost 20 plus friends to AIDS, that is a bit extreme.”
