Filmmaker Robert Wright has put together a series of interviews with members of the LGBT community and straight allies who have LGBT friends and family.

Watch model Vogue Williams,Chief Executive of the Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) Broden Giambrone and more talk about why it is so important for same-sex relationships to be fully recognised in Ireland.

Wright says, “While Equal Marriage will not be the end of the discrimination that the LGBT community face – it’s a move in the right direction. Research in the past has found that the stigma that the LGBT community face can be internalised, leading to mental health issues and low self esteem, as we can grow up believing that we are lesser than our heterosexual peers.”
