Happiness is only a heartbeat away with Here & Now, the hilarious and heart-warming new musical based on the unforgettable songs of pop legends Steps. Produced by Steps themselves, alongside ROYO and music maestro Pete Waterman, Here & Now features a glittering soundtrack of iconic hits including ‘5, 6, 7, 8’, ‘Stomp’, ‘Better Best Forgotten’, and ‘Last Thing On My Mind’. Set in the quirky seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, the story follows a group of friends and co-workers whose lives are shaken by secrets, heartbreak, and hope.

At the heart of the Here & Now story is Caz, a woman on the brink of adopting a child when her marriage suddenly ends. Left to pick up the pieces, she must reimagine her future with the support of her work family, navigating life’s challenges and rediscovering the power of community and self-love. Directed by acclaimed director Rachel Kavanaugh of Half a Sixpence, The Great British Bake Off Musical and written by Hollyoaks’ Shaun Kitchener, Here & Now is bursting with warmth, humour, and powerful pop nostalgia.

To celebrate Dublin Pride, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre will donate €5 from every ticket purchased for Here & Now over Pride weekend from 6am on Thursday, June 26 to midnight Sunday, June 29 to Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland, the national charity supporting LGBTQ+ young people across the country.
