With the same-sex marriage fast approaching, it’s timely that Irish duo, Buffalo Woman have released their stunning single, ‘More Than God’

Taken from the 2009 song cycle, Silver Stars, which premiered at the Dublin Theatre Festival and told real-life stories of Irish gay men in search of happiness and fulfilment in a country that was once challenged by their very existence, it’s a deeply moving song about a man coming out to his religious mother.

Buffalo Woman’s electronic stylings may give the song a complete make-over, but its universal and heartbreakingly beautiful message remains intact.
