‘St Joan’ at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, delves into themes of national identity, race, and women as makers of history.
Samantha Pearl, Juliet Dante and Rachel Halper star in all-female play, performing the visceral physical production. They take on the dream of going back in time to stop history’s atrocities.
Pascal Theatre Company, ManyTracks Inc., and Add2 Productions are an all-women international collaborative between three producers from the UK, USA and Liechtenstein. St Joan is its first venture to take on highly political subjects and explore them in a highly dramatic, emotionally engaging form of theatre.
Would Joan the girl fighter, with the voices of God in her head, really boot out the foreigners today? See for yourself!
St Joan, May 11 – 16 @ 9pm, Players Theatre @ Trinity College, Tickets from €13
