The nominations are open for Ireland’s most anticipated celebration of LGBTQ+ excellence, the GALAS 2025. A cornerstone of the Irish queer calendar, the GALAS will return on October 4, 2025, recognising those who support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.

Organised by GCN (Gay Community News) in partnership with the National LGBT Federation (NXF), the GALAS Awards have been celebrating queer achievements since 2009.

These awards shine a light on the individuals, companies, and organisations who have made significant, positive contributions to LGBTQ+ life in Ireland.

The 2024 celebrations saw Paul Ryder and Cassie Stokes take to the stage as the GALAS fabulous hosts, welcoming a range of fantastic entertainment, including a gorgeous performance from Glória LGBT+ Choir and jaw-dropping music by the one and only SexyTadhg. The unforgettable night ended with fabulous tunes courtesy of Mother DJ Glamo.

This year’s event is gearing up to be just as memorable. The hosts for the GALAS 2025 are yet to be revealed, but keep your eyes unblinking and peeled for the announcement coming your way very soon.
