This thrilling, audacious and emotive interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s master piece is perhaps best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing all male ensemble, shattering convention and taking the dance world by storm and features

Collecting over 30 international accolades including an Olivier and three Tony Awards, Bourne’s powerful production is a passionate and contemporary Swan Lake for our times. The production went on to become the longest-running ballet in the history of the West End and on Broadway.
Since its debut in 1995, there have been seismic shifts in society regarding same-sex relationships, gender roles and gender fluidity and there are some small tweaks in the detailing but this Swan Lake remains as visually and emotively as compelling as ever.
