This weekend, watch the gripping new CNN documentary, ‘Journey of a Gay Athlete’, featuring some of sport’s most courageous athletes. Hear their stories of tackling sport’s last taboo.

In this hour long documentary, you will hear first hand the challenges faced by gay athletes. CNN talks exclusively to those on the frontlines fighting against homophobia in sport and profiles some of the most well known out sport stars including LA Galaxy footballer Robbie Rogers, 23 year-old WNBA star Brittney Griner and professional speed skater Blake Skjellerup.

Rogers tells CNN, “I heard so many things which scarred me and made me think that there was no chance I’m ever going to come out,” while Brittney Griner describes how sports was her escape while at high school.
