After a tumultuous year, it’s time to highlight some of our favourite LGBTQ+ celeb relationship stories of 2025. It is always incredibly heartwarming to see queer celebs and those in the public eye showing off their loved ones! From Olympic athletes to the founder of Crumbl cookies, 2025 has been a year of high-profile hard launches for LGBTQ+ stars across the globe.

Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker
Although the rumours were rampant for quite some time, the boygenius bandmates confirmed their relationship in March of this year, when Lucy Dacus was interviewed by The New Yorker. Fans were gushing over the wholesome duo, and even Phoebe Bridgers took to Instagram (always a momentous occasion) to share a picture of the boygenius trio with herself jokingly blurred out. As Lucy went on tour this year for her album Forever is a Feeling, she shared the love with her fans, officiating marriages on stage across the US during her concerts.

Dan and Phil
The internet went wild this October when YouTube duo Dan and Phil confirmed their 16-year-long relationship. Having come out as gay in 2019, the pair officially announced that ‘Phan’ is real in a 46-minute YouTube video, “Are Dan and Phil in a relationship?” A big day for the chronically online, Phil told viewers: “If you’ll have us, we’d love to just finally be ourselves and do what we love”.
