Tarot For You And Me – A Queer Deck and Guidebook
Gary D’Andre’s masterpiece won’t disappoint you! The vibrant and lively rainbow-filled images will bring cheer to any queer tarot lover. 

 

Turning Terrestrial Tides Tarot
Sarah Calvaresse-Allen is the creator of this black-and-white LGBTQ+ tarot deck. It uses the approachable cut-and-paste collage style of ’90s zines and includes astrological linkages to each tarot archetype. 

Prism Tarot
Another masterpiece from Clavaresse-Allen, this time aimed at beginners. The spread offers easy-to-understand readings combined with a subtle colour palet and simple drawings. 

The Modern Witch Tarot
Lisa Sterle introduces a high dose of powerful feminine energy into this deck. A mix between contemporary life and the original Pamela Colman’s Rider Waite Tarot, this deck has a modern touch while still being reminiscent of the classics.

Queer and trans artist duo Ashley Molesso and Chess Needham showcase their talent in this sexuality and gender-diverse LGBTQ+ tarot deck. It also incorporates some queer history.

Alternative haircuts and piercings are represented in this LGBTQ+ tarot deck by Isabella Rotman. Additionally, the cartoon-like characters give it a distinctive touch.

Haunted: A Cursed Appalachian Tarot Deck
This Pittsburgh-based queer artist knows how to get tarot lovers hooked – with amazing ghost stories. This LGBTQ+ tarot deck reveals a mix of melancholy and disturbing images that you won’t be able to stop looking at.

Rainbow Heart Tarot
Much love has been put into this retro-inspired LGBTQ+ tarot deck made by Portland-based illustrator Rachel Rosenkoetter. With a unique shiny purple back and bright images, it’s no wonder why this is its fifth edition. 

Fyodor Pavlov Tarot 
Under the umbrella of Art Noveau, fine details and delicate watercolour layers make up this tarot collection that also features non-binary and queer identities. The extreme delicacy makes it clear why it took the artist four years to create the deck.

 

Fifth Spirit Tarot
Queer and non-binary witch Charlie Claire Burgess added a distinctive touch to this deck with a fifth element: spirit. Burgess, who is also a writer, goes in-depth about the queerness of the tarot in their book Radical Tarot: Queer the Cards, Liberate Your Practice and Create the Future

The Gay Marseille
Another LGBTQ+ tarot deck from Burgess, this time with nods to historic events. This set of cards gives a slight twist to the traditional popular deck The Marseille, which dates back to 17th and 18th century France.

 

Big Gay Tarot Deck
Poppy the Witch’s popularity makes this LGBTQ+ tarot deck hard to get. While it’s simple and minimalistic, its inclusive illustrations also contain disabled people. For example, The Wheel of Fortune card is represented by someone in a wheelchair.

Many Queens Tarot
F
ine black-and-white details within a hypnotising array of eyeballs are captured in this deck. Lettie Jane Rennekamp offers a collection of drawings that are hard to look away from.

Star Spinner Tarot
In this modern version of classic tarot mysticism, Trung Le Nguyen, aka Trungles, offers mythological world depictions including fairies and mermaids, all under the queer umbrella.

Rainbow Tarot
This deck couldn’t be more queer. In these cards, So Lazo offers a dreamy psychedelic array of colours, images and magical figures. 

 

Next World Tarot
Political messages and criticisms of oppressive systems can be read between the lines of this deck. Illustrator, punk rock musician and graphic novelist Cristy C. Road envisions with extreme detail a future world where justice relies on mutual respect and is ruled by revolutionary love. Set in a post-apocalyptic landscape, figures with an array of ethnicities, bodies and genders are represented in this deck. 

Liberation Tarot

his LGBTQ+ tarot has been created over the course of four years by more than 30 artists and writers living in the US, Canada, France, Brazil, Palestine, and Mexico. The final result emanates revolutionary, resistant energy, by also altering some traditional cards to suit the look. 

Gold Kyre
This LGBTQ+ deck offers a modern gender-agnostic approach to the original Rider Waite Deck, with its simple designs representing the divine feminine of today’s American culture and gender-neutral evolution.

Fortune Queens: A Drag Race Tarot Deck 
The name says it all. If you are looking for a fun deck, stop searching because this is it. It is the perfect option for those who want to mix their passion for tarot with a drag lifestyle. The message behind this creation makes it even more special: the creator, graphic designer Juanjo Cristiani raised, funds for it through a popular Kickstarter campaign

The Urban Tarot
Last but not least, The Urban Tarot deck is inspired by the artist’s home, New York City. Trans woman utopian social creator Robin Scott showcases their surroundings – graffiti, hot dogs, and American city settings.
