Some of the most talented queer DJs in Dublin are coming together for an electrifying rave, ready to bring high energy, music and celebration to the Irish capital. The fabulous event is also an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for LGBTQ+ charity ShoutOut.

Organised by DJs Manwelli and Club Domhanda, Queer Rave promises a “vibrant daytime celebration of queer joy, music, and community”. The party will provide a space for everyone from the community to be celebrated, while dancing to the stunning tunes of Ireland’s best DJs.

The incredible lineup for the event includes: Aaron Grant, Acid Dave, Blewit, Bull Horris, DJ RÍ, Glamo, G!O, Katiee.eem, Manwelli and Shannen Blessing.

Queer Rave is taking place on May 16 at Wigwam, in the heart of Dublin. Starting at 1pm, it will keep partygoers dancing until 10pm.

What’s more, all proceeds from the event will go to support the incredible work ShoutOut does for queer youth in Ireland.

A registered charity, ShoutOut runs educational programmes in schools, workplaces and beyond, harnessing the power of education to combat anti-LGBTQ+ bullying and violence. Founded in 2012, the organisation has completed over 2,470 student workshops, speaking directly to over 74,100 students.

Speaking to GCN about the fundraising event, organiser Manwelli said: “It’s really important, first and foremost, to raise money for an amazing organisation like ShoutOut, which supports queer youth across Ireland.

“They do incredible and essential work promoting inclusion and providing support, especially for the younger generation of queer people.”

Manwelli added, “The event is also important for the wider queer community to come together, celebrate, and support a meaningful cause. It’s a moment not only to enjoy and connect, but also to reflect on the deeper purpose behind the party.”
